Is iCard AD a bank?

iCard is licensed to issue electronic money and provide e-money services to clients in all countries part of the European Economic Area.

To obtain our license, we need to have bank-grade security infrastructure and processes.

The money in your iCard Digital Wallet is better protected than banks because we don’t take risks with it - we don’t give out loans with your money and it’s segregated by law from our company’s money.
